Ricca Design Studios is currently providing culinary design services for the large-scale expansion of Washington State Convention Center. As one of downtown Seattle’s largest ever construction projects, the 1.5M SF addition presents an opportunity to fuse multiple core neighborhoods and redefine a desired mixed-development zone. The facility is made up of convention space, stacked exhibit halls, two levels of meeting rooms, a 60,000 SF ballroom, multiple retail outlets, and open-air terraces on each level. A street level plaza offers numerous retail options, markets, and restaurants to the local residents and convention center attendees alike. When complete, the WSCC will offer a diverse mix of amenities, will incorporate evolving trends, and will enhance Seattle’s vibrant urban core.
