Central Campus Dining Hall at UVM is a reflection of how much the culture around food and nutrition has evolved in recent years. The facility places an emphasis on food quality, local partnerships, sustainability, and education. The Exploration Station is stocked with prepped ingredients where students can cook their own meals, with a chef on hand to answer questions and provide guidance. The Discovery Kitchen provides a dedicated space for demonstrations and cooking classes – providing students with lifelong skills. The demonstration space features six stainless steel dual-purpose tables – they act as cooking counters during classes and demonstrations, and as a communal farm table when classes aren’t taking place. In addition to the Exploration & Discovery Station’s, Central Campus Dining features seven additional stations all focused on fresh, farm-to-table offerings.
